Aromas y Sabores 2025
Branding, ephemeral identity
October 2025
Punta del Este, Maldonado, Uruguay
We designed the visual identity, built around an aesthetic that evokes the warmth and authenticity of the Uruguayan land and sea coast. The visual atmosphere draws inspiration from local ingredients—honey, fish, meats, spices, wines, and preserves—arranged harmoniously over a natural linen tablecloth that serves as the background texture, reinforcing the artisanal and organic nature of the event.
The color palette is composed of warm, earthy tones: ochres, beige, soft browns, and subtle red accents. This range conveys flavor and closeness while evoking tradition and comfort—values that align with the festival’s identity.
The Inter typeface was chosen for its contemporary, clean, and highly readable qualities. Its versatility supports clear hierarchy and organization, bringing modernity and clarity to the design. The contrast between typographic weights introduces rhythm and visual balance within a simple and approachable layout.
A key challenge was the visual unification of the sponsor and partner logos. To maintain overall consistency, a monochromatic treatment was applied, preserving each brand’s presence while preventing visual clutter. This approach ensures balance and coherence across the composition.
The final result merges gastronomy, place, and contemporary design—a warm, cohesive identity that communicates the sensory and cultural value of the festival experience.
Aromas y Sabores de Punta del Este is the premier gastronomic festival in eastern Uruguay, a meeting place for chefs, producers, and food lovers who celebrate the diversity and richness of local products. The event aims to promote the country's culinary identity, highlighting the quality of its raw materials and the artisanal work of those who transform them.
In this 2025 edition, renowned national and international chefs shared their knowledge and techniques through masterclasses, creating a space for training, inspiration, and exchange. In addition, the public enjoyed tastings of products and dishes, and explored a fair featuring local producers with olive oils, wines, honeys, cheeses, and other regional specialties.
The event was organized by the Punta del Este Gastronomic Corporation and took place at The Grand Center, located at Parada 10 and Avenida del Mar, on October 21 and 22, 2025.
This festival has established itself as a leading showcase for Uruguayan gastronomy, where tradition, innovation, and local ingredients converge in one space.
